Daytrips-Norton Priory Museum and Gardens-Part 3.

Over the bridge and down through a woodland walk I made my way to the Walled Garden.

'The beautiful 2.5 acre Georgian walled garden is a hidden gem with fruit trees, herb garden and rose walk. Home to the National Collection of Quince, it is surrounded by a pear orchard, wildflower meadow and woodland.'

All the blossom was out and it was so beautiful and all the leaves were bright green and brand new.

Around the corner was a surprise of greenhouses, a cafe and a book shed complete with honesty box and a small chair to rest.

Honestly it was lovely and I am glad I manged to catch the last of the blossom. I bet it's even nicer in autumn.
